For those who have earned the ultimate rank

Active Roster

Circle Ten Council includes the following letter
in packets sent to new Eagle Scouts

Dallas, Texas

Dear New Eagle,

Earning the rank of Eagle is the highest achievement a Scout can attain. As you undoubtedly already know, only about 4% of all Scouts ever achieve the rank of Eagle. It is an event worthy of being immortalized ... and with more significance than a smartphone's camera capabilities. Given the effort that attaining Eagle Scout takes, Circle Ten Council thinks that the moment needs to be appropriately commemorated. Therefore, the council has made arrangements to have a professional photograph made of all new Eagle Scout to appropriately honor them.

In order to celebrate your achievement and help announce it to the world, Circle Ten Council has made arrangements with StephenShore.Photography to have a professional quality portrait taken of you. The council will establish a "Wall of Honor" at each of its two council Scouting centers, in Dallas and Fairview, to honor you. Your portrait, along with other recent Scouts to earn their rank of Eagle Scout, will be prominently displayed at the lobby entrance of each building. Your portrait will include a banner with your name, your troop, city where you live, and date you passed your Eagle Board of Review.

Also, we at StephenShore.Photography can, if you and your parents wish, submit your photo and pertinent information about you directly to the Dallas Morning News so that your achievement can be announced to our entire community.

There is NO CHARGE for this service. It is our gift to you from StephenShore.Photography in recognition of your achievement. You and your parents may buy additional prints if you like, but there is no requirement to do so.

We will typically have portrait sessions on two Saturdays each month when we will waive our normal session fee for the portraits of new Eagle Scouts. These sessions will be at our studio near the Galleria in North Dallas. In order to determine the upcoming dates, finding the studio location, and reserve your session time, please go to the website we have set up specifically for Eagle Scout photos at:

We look forward to immortalizing this significant life achievement with a great portrait of you.

Yours in Scouting,
Stephen Shore
